The Program Committee for the Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement is currently accepting abstracts for the upcoming school in Calgary. In 2009 more than 500 registered delegates representing the measurement, compliance and production accounting communities across North America. The abstracts should be representative of the School topics (listed below). Producers and Suppliers are encouraged to collaborate in submitting joint abstracts based on case studies and field-based experiences, panel discussions are instrumental in information sharing. Examples of shared successes and challenges, associated with hydrocarbon measurement, will be of great interest to School attendees and of great benefit to our industry.

 

The program will include concurrent sessions on the following topics:

  • Enhanced Production Audit Program (EPAP)
  • Metering and Calibrations (basic and advanced)
  • Measurement Errors: Improving Accuracy
  • Analysis, Sampling, Allocation
  • Production Accounting
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Measurement Systems
  • New Technology
  • Instrument Demos

The 2010 program will also include a special one-day course on the Fundamentals of Gas Measurement.

 

Accepted authors will be expected to provide a fifty (50) minute oral presentation, along with a White Paper that will be posted on the Canadian School of Hydrocarbon Measurement web site after each school.

 

Abstract Submission Deadline has been extended to October 31, 2009
White Papers of accepted abstracts will be due one month prior to the start of the School.
 

The Program Committee is representative of producers and suppliers and reserves the right to reject any and all abstracts that are not related to the subject matter or are sales oriented in their presentation. Technical papers are selected on their relevance, expertise and value for educational purposes. To maintain the integrity of the school "sales pitches" are strictly prohibited.
